BARBARIC
I got out of my bed in the morning and my husband sleeping on the other side of the bed was snoring. Getting up at five in the morning was the norm I had to follow at my in-law's place. I was half asleep; half tired when I put on the tap of the rest room. I removed my clothing and had a small laugh and an inaudible cry at the same time. "She'll be really happy after getting married. The stars are all in her favor. Don't you worry your daughter has a very bright future in that house." The astrologer had said. I am married to this beast for the last three years and no one knows of the scars he gives me every night. What could be worse than getting raped by the man you thought would be the one who would keep you the happiest! The scars on my body will fade some day but the scars on my heart will never. Maybe I'll take those scars to my grave or these scars will take me to mine.
